Gynecologist
Dr. Uma Maheswari Vadivel is a renowned Gynecologist with over 35 years of clinical experience. She completed her undergraduate studies from Madurai Medical College in 1984 and did her diploma in Radiology in 1992, and Master’s Degree in Obstetrics and Gynecology from Chennai Medical College in 1999. She later completed her training in Laparoscopic Surgery, and advanced ultrasonographic techniques from renowned institutions in Tamil Nadu.
In India, She has worked at St. Joseph’s hospital in Didigul, GKNM hospital, and Ramakrishna Hospital in Coimbatore as a senior resident gynecologist until 2002. During her tenure of 15 years in India, she has performed numerous deliveries, and surgeries including C-Section, Hysterectomy and various procedures.
She moved to Sharjah in 2002 and worked at Venniyil Medical Centre as a lead Gynecologist for 14 years attending to patients from all across the Emirates and Oman. In 2016, she started her own medical practice under Lifeline clinic Rolla and later Joined Lifeline clinic Sharjah offering Antenatal Care, High Risk Pregnancy Management, Infertility treatment, Well Women services, and Ultrasonography.
She attends international and national conferences in the field of infertility and pregnancy management. Dr. Uma has special interests in infertility treatment with several successful outcomes that has brought cheer and joy to the new parents.
