Dr. George Kaliaden

Dr. George Kaliaden is a highly qualified Psychologist who has been practicing in the UAE for more than 25 years. His background includes research /study at the University of Texas at Arlington, the University of Pennsylvania, and IIT Bombay.

He earned his Master’s from the University of Bombay in 1973 and a Doctorate in Applied Psychology from the University of Calcutta in 1989. Dr. George has worked in a number of prestigious institutions in India, USA, and UAE.  He is a member of the American Psychological Association and a life member of Indian Academy of Applied Psychology since 1984.

In 1994, Dr. George began his professional career in Dubai. He associated with a number of clinics and medical facilities, including Prime Medical Center and Welcare Hospital. Additionally, he served at Middlesex University in Dubai as a visiting Psychologist and Counselor (2005 – 2021). He was a member of Dubai Health Authority’s Psychology Subject Matter Experts’ Committee for developing Licensing Standards & Criteria.

Dr. Kaliaden is the author of numerous books, including the well-known work “Moulding Your Child,” which was translated and published in Arabic by the Supreme Council for Childhood, Government of Sharjah. Apart from his consulting, diagnosis, and therapy, Dr. George also offers group therapy and skills training sessions, particularly for teenagers and college students.
